• A poor electrical connection at the memory position sensor connector
• A failed body control module

2. Check the sensor reference and signal circuits
3. Inspect the memory position sensor connector and harness
4. Test the memory position sensor circuit for open and short faults
5. Replace the body control module if the memory signal stays outside range
6. Clear the code and retest
