Check these first

• A failing barometric pressure sensor
• A failing turbocharger or supercharger inlet pressure sensor on Bank 1
• A boost or intake leak on Bank 1
• A failing boost pressure sensor
• Wiring or a connector fault between the sensors and the ECM

What to do next

1. Compare barometric and turbo inlet pressure readings on a scan tool
2. Inspect the charge pipes on Bank 1 for boost leaks
3. Test the barometric and inlet pressure sensor wiring
4. Check the boost pressure sensor signal
5. Replace the sensor that reads out of range
6. Clear the code and retest
