What does P0200 mean?
P0200 — Injector Circuit/Open. This is an OBD-II diagnostic trouble code a scanner retrieves when your vehicle's computer detects injector circuit/open. The level of risk depends on how the vehicle is currently running and how long you've been driving with the light on.
Common causes of P0200
- Open injector circuit wiring
- Failed injector solenoid
- Damaged injector connector or harness connector
- Faulty PCM injector driver
- Corrosion in the fuel injector connector
How to fix P0200
- Measure injector resistance at each injector connector
- Check for battery voltage on the feed and PCM command on the low side
- Inspect the harness for chafing near the intake
- Test with a noid light or scope during cranking
- Repair wiring or replace the failed injector
