Check these first

• A leaking or clogged cylinder 6 fuel injector
• Too high fuel pressure
• A faulty oxygen sensor reading rich
• A vacuum leak at the cylinder 6 intake runner
• A faulty fuel pressure regulator

What to do next

1. Read the long and short term fuel trim on a scan tool
2. Run a fuel system leak down test on cylinder 6
3. Check fuel pressure and the pressure regulator
4. Compare the oxygen sensor reading to a known good one
5. Replace injector 6 if it leaks down
6. Clear the code and retest
