• A short in the coil G wiring
• Corrosion at the coil G connector
• A faulty ECM driver

2. Check the coil G primary circuit for an open
3. Inspect the coil G connector and wiring
4. Check for coil G overheating
5. Replace the ignition coil G if it is failed
6. Clear the code and retest
