• A fouled or worn spark plug on cylinder 2
• A weak ignition coil on cylinder 2
• Low compression on cylinder 2
• A vacuum or intake leak feeding cylinder 2

What to do next

1. Check misfire counters per cylinder on a scan tool
2. Swap the cylinder 2 coil and plug with a neighbor to see if the fault moves
3. Test the cylinder 2 injector for flow and pulse
4. Run a compression test on cylinder 2
5. Smoke test the intake near cylinder 2
6. Clear the code and retest
