• A blown intake air heater fuse
• Corroded heater circuit wiring
• A short or open in the heater circuit

What to do next

1. Check the heater fuse and relay
2. Measure the heater element resistance
3. Inspect the heater wiring for corrosion
4. Command the heater on and check for voltage at the element
5. Replace the intake air heater if the element is bad
6. Clear the code and retest
