Check these first

• A leak at the pan gasket or drain plug
• A leak from a cooler line or fitting
• A failed fluid level sensor reading low
• The wrong fluid fill amount after a service
• A clogged filter restricting return flow

What to do next

1. Check the fluid level on a level surface
2. Look for leaks under the pan and cooler lines
3. Top up with the specified fluid and recheck
4. Inspect the filter and pan gasket if the level keeps dropping
5. Replace the level sensor if the reading stays low with a full sump
6. Clear the code and retest
