• A sensor C that reads low or fixed
• A worn sensing element inside sensor C
• Corrosion at the sensor C connector

What to do next

2. Check the circuit for a short to ground
3. Inspect the sensor C connector
4. Compare sensor C output through the gate range
5. Replace the sensor if the low reading persists
6. Clear the code and retest
