Check these first

• A G circuit tap reading below the surrounding cell voltages
• High resistance in the G sense lead or its connection
• A corroded pin in the G circuit connector
• A weak cell at the G voltage tap
• A voltage sense module input fault on the G channel

What to do next

1. Read the G circuit voltage on a scan tool
2. Compare the G tap reading to its neighbors
3. Inspect the G sense lead and connector for corrosion
4. Measure resistance through the G circuit
5. Replace the sense module if the G channel still reads low
6. Clear the code and retest
