• A K circuit tap reading below the surrounding cell voltages
• High resistance in the K sense lead
• A corroded pin in the K circuit connector
• A weak cell at the K voltage tap
• A sense module input fault on the K channel

What to do next

1. Read the K circuit voltage on a scan tool
2. Compare the K tap reading to its neighbors
3. Inspect the K sense lead and connector for corrosion
4. Measure resistance through the K circuit
5. Replace the sense module if the K channel reads low
6. Clear the code and retest
