Check these first

• An open in the U battery voltage sense circuit
• A short to ground on the U sense lead
• A damaged U circuit connector
• A failed cell tap on the U channel
• A sense module driver fault on U

What to do next

1. Read U circuit voltage on a scan tool
2. Test the U sense circuit for an open
3. Check the U connector pins for damage
4. Measure the U tap voltage at the pack
5. Replace the sense module if the U channel is dead
6. Clear the code and retest
