Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Cooling Fan 2 Sense Circuit Low

Check these first

• A short to ground on the cooling fan 2 sense circuit
• A failed fan sense output inside the fan module
• Corroded or wet pins pulling the sense signal low
• A fan that has stalled and holds the sense line low

What to do next

1. Check the fan 2 sense wire for a short to ground
2. Inspect the fan connector for corrosion and water
3. Command fan 2 on and watch the sense signal rise
4. Measure the sense circuit with the fan unplugged
5. Replace the cooling fan assembly if the circuit tests good but the signal stays low
6. Clear the code and retest
