Check these first

• A wiring fault on cell balancing circuit C
• A balancing resistor or shunt out of spec on circuit C
• A cell controller that does not drive circuit C
• Corrosion in the cell harness connector at circuit C

What to do next

1. Read all cell voltages and look at the circuit C group
2. Command balancing on and watch the circuit C response
3. Inspect the circuit C shunt, resistor and wiring
4. Check the cell harness connector for corrosion and pushed pins
5. Service the balancing board if circuit C will not respond
6. Clear the code and retest
