• Corrosion at the bank 1 runner connector
• A short to ground inside the bank 1 runner circuit

2. Test the bank 1 runner control wire for a short to ground
3. Check the bank 1 runner connector for corrosion
4. Measure the bank 1 solenoid resistance
5. Replace the bank 1 solenoid if the circuit tests good
