Check these first

• A DEF pump delivering outside the expected range
• Low DEF level or a faulty DEF level sensor
• A blocked or clogged DEF line
• Wiring issues in the reductant supply control circuit

2. Check DEF level and refill if low
3. Test the DEF pump output
4. Inspect the DEF lines for blockage
5. Replace the DEF pump if the lines and level test good
6. Clear the code and retest
