Air Flow Restriction/Air Leak Between Air Filter and MAF Bank 1

Check these first

• A clogged air filter on bank 1
• A collapsed or pinched air intake duct ahead of the MAF
• An air leak between the air filter housing and the MAF
• Debris blocking the bank 1 air box inlet

What to do next

1. Inspect the air filter and replace if clogged
2. Check the intake duct between the air filter and MAF for collapse
3. Smoke test the duct joints for leaks
4. Clear the inlet of debris
5. Recheck MAF air flow readings on a scan tool
6. Clear the code and retest
