What to do next

1. Read the bank 1 DPF soot load on a scan tool
2. Run a forced regeneration and watch for a temperature rise
3. Check the air filter and intake for a restriction
4. Check engine oil level and condition
5. Clean or replace the DPF if regeneration cannot lower the soot load
6. Clear the code and retest
