Check these first

• A binding or seized turbocharger B vane linkage
• A failed wastegate actuator on turbocharger B
• A boost pressure sensor reading below the commanded target
• Chafed or corroded wiring at the turbocharger B actuator

What to do next

1. Read turbocharger B commanded and actual boost position on a scan tool
2. Command the turbocharger B actuator and check for full travel
3. Inspect the B vane linkage for carbon or binding
4. Test the B actuator wiring for opens, shorts and corrosion
5. Replace the turbocharger B wastegate actuator if the linkage moves freely
6. Clear the code and retest
