Cylinder 2 Ion Current Sense Circuit Low

Check these first

• A short to ground on the cylinder 2 ion current sense circuit
• High resistance in the cylinder 2 coil ion sense wiring
• A weak ignition coil spark on cylinder 2
• A backed out pin at the cylinder 2 coil connector
• A leaking spark plug boot on cylinder 2 shunting the signal

What to do next

1. Read cylinder 2 ion current data on a scan tool
2. Inspect the cylinder 2 spark plug and coil boot
3. Test the cylinder 2 ion sense circuit for a short to ground
4. Check the cylinder 2 coil connector pins
5. Replace the cylinder 2 coil if the circuit tests good
6. Clear the code and retest
