Forced Hybrid/EV Battery Disconnect

Check these first

• A high voltage interlock loop that opened
• A service disconnect plug that is not seated
• A failed battery pack contactor
• A crash signal that forced the disconnect
• A damaged high voltage cable

What to do next

1. Check the service disconnect plug is fully seated
2. Inspect the high voltage interlock loop
3. Scan for crash and interlock codes
4. Test the battery pack contactors
5. Repair the open high voltage circuit
6. Clear the code and retest
