• A partially shorted high speed CAN positive connector
• A module pulling the high speed CAN positive voltage low
• Water intrusion in the high speed CAN positive harness

1. Read the code and check module communication status on a scan tool
2. Measure high speed CAN positive voltage with the key on
3. Test the high speed CAN positive wire for a short to ground
4. Inspect the high speed CAN positive connectors for moisture
5. Disconnect modules one at a time to find the one pulling the line low
6. Clear the code and retest
