Check these first

• Clogged or dirty fuel injectors
• A faulty fuel pressure regulator
• A weak or failing fuel pump
• A cam or crank signal fault skewing injection timing
• A wiring or connector fault between the ECM and the injectors

What to do next

1. Check fuel pressure and the fuel filter
2. Test the fuel pump and pressure regulator
3. Run an injector balance test
4. Check cam and crank position signals
5. Inspect injector connectors and wiring
6. Clear the code and retest
