Check these first

• A faulty camshaft position sensor on bank 1
• A worn camshaft on bank 1
• Low oil pressure
• Camshaft timing advanced on bank 1
• A PCM that misfires the timing command

What to do next

1. Monitor bank 1 cam timing on a scan tool during a cold start
2. Check oil pressure and level
3. Test the camshaft position sensor
4. Inspect the camshaft and timing marks
5. Reprogram the PCM if the timing data is wrong
6. Clear the code and retest
