Check these first

• A V circuit tap reading below the surrounding cell voltages
• High resistance in the V sense lead or connection
• A corroded pin in the V circuit connector
• A weak cell at the V voltage tap
• A sense module input fault on the V channel

What to do next

1. Read the V circuit voltage on a scan tool
2. Compare the V tap reading to its neighbors
3. Inspect the V sense lead and connector for corrosion
4. Measure resistance through the V circuit
5. Replace the sense module if the V channel reads low
6. Clear the code and retest
