• A short to voltage on the X sense lead
• A corroded X connector adding resistance
• An overcharged cell at the X tap
• A sense module input fault on X

What to do next

1. Read X circuit voltage on a scan tool
2. Compare the X reading to its paired tap
3. Inspect the X sense lead for a short to voltage
4. Measure the X tap directly at the pack
5. Replace the sense module if the X channel reads high
6. Clear the code and retest
